Gormlaith

Gormlaith is the Eldest of Tharn, the former ruler of the country. She was born in 1079, and has ruled since 1154. She does not have a particular town as her home, but travels from place to place, staying for a few months at a time with the local ruler, and then moving on again at her whim. She travels with a coterie of other old ladies, and a number of guards from her clan of Ua Fogarta.

After Tharn was merged into Attellaria, she was made the Duchess of Tharn; rulership will pass to whomever she appoints.

She is a Diancecht worshiper, but not a level type person. She has some 'woods witch' type of knowledge of healing minor wounds and sicknesses.

Gormlaith is very tall for a woman from Tharn, at 5'9", of average build. She looks every day of her years. She spends her free time (of which she actually has quite a bit) fiddling with herbal medicines and fishing. She is easily irritated by those she perceives as foolish, but can discern what people want with her quite well, and has proven to be a very capable leader. She comes off as uncaring, and actually is somewhat stern and coarse in how she rules.
