SCP(s): SCP-049
Test Rationale: The purpose of this experiment was to explore the psychological patterns in SCP-049's behavior when faced with contradictions to its belief system. I aimed to further investigate earlier tests I did related to the theories I diagnosed SCP-049 with, which includes but are not limited to cognitive dissonance, confirmation bias, messianic complex, and also grandiosity delusion, in the context of interactions with individuals claiming expertise on the Pestilence.
Date of Test: 08/29/24
Summary of Test: The test involved a Class D claiming to be an expert on the Pestilence and offering to assist SCP-049. The Doctor's initial reaction was one of distrust and dismissal. After plenty of observation, the test once again confirmed that SCP-049's behaviors aligned with several psychological theories, such as cognitive dissonance, confirmation bias, and grandiosity delusion. Despite being persuaded to listen to the Class D, SCP-049 rejected the individual as a "fraud," to reinforce its self-perception as the only authority capable of acting on the Pestilence.

SCP(s): SCP-127, SCP-035
Test Rationale: This cross-test was to explore SCP-127's behavioral response to SCP-035,I focused on it's trust dynamics, emotional attachment, and cognitive aversion (Loss aversion is a cognitive bias that refers to the human tendency to prefer avoiding losses to acquiring equivalent gains. In other words, the pain of losing is psychologically twice as powerful as the pleasure of gaining.) . The experiment sought to test hypotheses regarding SCP-127's ability to discern threats and react based on its prior experiences.
Date of Test: 08/27/24
Summary of Test: The test revealed SCP-127's advanced cognitive processes in figuring out potential threats and the limits of its attachment. Despite bonding with Class D personnel through trust-building activities, SCP-127 exhibited strong aversion to SCP-035, demonstrating mentally ingrained wariness. The findings align with the attachment theory, cognitive discrimination, and evolutionary psychology. SCP-127 prioritized protective instincts over emotional manipulation, indicating an advanced decision-making process when exposed to perceived threats. The next thing I will research on this topic is if extended exposure can change this. (All theories present was researched thoroughly and does align)

SCP(s): SCP-049
Test Rationale: The point of the interview was to explore SCP-049’s motivations, beliefs about the Pestilence, and the theories behind its actions.
Date of Test: 08/26/24
Summary of Test: SCP-049 views the Pestilence as an existential threat, justifying its actions through Moral Absolutism and a Utilitarian approach, where the eradication of the Pestilence outweighs individual harm. The interview revealed SCP-049’s Messianic Complex, believing it alone holds the cure, and its bias against opposing views. SCP-049's strict adherence to its moral code suggests that effective containment strategies must recognize and engage with its perception of duty as humanity’s sole savior, hence we call him "Doctor" and his containment chamber is a lab.
