Anomaly Description
SCP-096, also known as the “Shy Guy”, is a tall and slender white figure. SCP-096 can be seen with multiple bullet holes in his chest and back. Along with that, its fingers have been bloodied over time due to the SCP’s nature. SCP-096 is often seen in a sitting position, this is used to hide his face. This is due to the fact that if anybody sees his face, he will go into an enraged state. During this state, SCP-096 will kill anyone in his path in order to get to the one who saw his face. Once SCP-096 has reached his victim, he will go into a saddened state. This is due to the fact that 096 does not like harming others, however; it doesn’t stop him from killing. In order to not trigger SCP-096, one must either not view its face, or view it through the specially installed scramble windows found inside his containment.SCP-096 frequently gets lonely and upset. During these times, SCP-096 will hug other people, request a monkey plushie, or get help from SCP-999 and SCP-1048-G.
SCP-096 communicates via a strict method of sign language. This method is better at communicating than other non-verbal SCPs, but is still highly limited. Its form of communication ranges from simple yes to no’s, to its feelings of fear and conflict. Aside from communication, SCP-096 attacks in a strong and aggressive manner. Once his face has been seen, it will go into a state of madness. It will often scream, causing bystanders to shake at the sound of it, and run at high-velocity speeds towards its target. SCP-096’s face will open up into a much more unsettling look, and swipe and pull apart the victim. There is no known way to prevent death from the person who has seen SCP-096’s face.
