SCP-1048 Testing Regulations

Welcome to the Testing Regulations page of SCP-1048. Through this page you will be provided with the general characteristics, containment procedures, testing restrictions, testing/interview procedures, emergency procedures, and specific free-roam terms that come along with SCP-1048. 

That said, everything within this page should be followed in any test, or event involving SCP-1048. Failure to follow the rules and guidelines within the SCP-1048 Testing Regulations will be met with the proper line of punishment. 

Testing Restrictions require the following from SCD in order to host this test:

•  SCP-1048 tests are restricted to Junior Researcher+;

• SCP-1048 tests are Specialized Unit Mandatory.

• SCP-1048 events require 1 Actor from the Joint Departmental Server

• SCP-1048 events require level 1 Security Clearance+;

SCP-1048 can be re-contained in a variety of different ways such as:

• Being calmed by a specific type of item. For example: 1048-F is calmed by a Flamethrower.

• Attempting to pacify them through means of effective communication

  SCP-1048 is able to be interviewed/tested in a variety of different ways such as:

• When the anomaly is roaming ask it if it would be possible to conduct an interview with it. You would also typically kneel down to the anomalies level at this point. Tip : An example of this would be : “Hello, Magma how are you today? I have a couple of questions to ask you. This would be an interview, is that okay?” This would generally be a good way to ask SCP-1048 for an interview.

• When it comes to being a spectator of a test, SCP-1048 is busy with other individuals. It’s best to wait until the other people are done to ask if they would be available to have an interview. Tip : An example of a way to ask in a situation like this is “Excuse me Bolt, I know that you’re busy with other people, but I would like to know if you would be available for an interview?”. This would be the best way to go about conducting this.

• When attempting to test on an Actor that a SCD had asked to come on-site through the joint departmental server. It is best to still ask the Actor if it is possible to conduct research or conduct an interview. Any Researcher+ should be able to use the command Check [scp-(number)] [reason] on the Tablet. This is to only be done for a good reason and should not be abused. 

This section will contain a list of different scenarios that can happen with SCP-1048 and what you should do if this anomaly exhibits these behaviors :

• When a group of rogue CD raid the test these are the following actions a SCD should do :

  • Follow the orders of the combatives that are escorting the test/interview

  • Depending on the situation if it gets to the point where the test has to be canceled. Perform the test at another time.

• Slightly agitated and able to be calmed down

  • Refer to the containment section within this handbook for things that are able to pacify/calm SCP-1048.

• SCP-1048 is on the verge of becoming angry from any actions a SCD has done :

  • Deescalate the situation and try to make the situation better than it already is.

  • If it is intentional, record evidence and send it to any command member.

• • SCP-1048 is contained within the Moderate Containment Zone in a forest-like area, where there is a little cabin as well as a workshop. There is also a mountain contained within the containment.

  • There is a small observation room for SCP-1048 as well as a testing room equipped.
