On the third day of virtual work all the project Erasmus+ project KA229 "Let's think about our future working life" partners in Spain, Estonia, Latvia and Romania continued to deepen the economic sectors in the area and started preparing their job interviews- they started writing the scripts and practising them (acting them).
After that, entrepreneurs told about their business; a fashion designer Pilar Amorós and an owner of the company Dechics told about their business.
Pilar Amorós
Pilar Amorós, a fashion designer, an atelier from Monóvar (Alicante – Spain) introduced to challenges in her life.
After university studies of European public international law, she had to move to Mexico and changed her focus; after 4 years of experience in Human Rights in the Ombudsman's office and another 6 in the State Government's legal drafting office, she decided to start a business about which a priori she knew nothing; with little investment, and in a very short time she has managed to position it nationally as one of the favourite brands in the children's clothing sector designed and made in Mexico. Pilar Amorós considers herself a flexible and resilient person to adapt to external changes, re-calculating objectives, is very constant and hard-working, and with the continuous need to give the maximum and to achieve higher and higher goals.
She said: 'I am Pilar Amorós, a fashion designer. In our workshop, we produce artistic and slow fashion, emphasizing our own designs and artisan work. Our pieces are unique and they contain our soul. These are tailor-made clothes, produced in an artisan way. We pay special attention to every detail, and we try to transmit the legacy of the Spanish tradition and culture. We work in a slow fashion because we want to respect ourselves, our customers and the natural environment. Without these values, our atelier would be inconceivable. We produce under the philosophy “make to order”. In this way, we don’t overproduce with collections and stocks, knowing that natural resources are limited. We want to offer quality and timelessness so that our designs can last in time.'
DECHICS
