Visiting Turaida museum reserve
Orientation game ‘Story of Millenium’ (in international groups)
Sightseeing around the Turaida museum reserve
The historical centre of Turaida, is particularly attractive, because it is on the banks of the ancient Gauja River Valley and is part of the territory of the Gauja National Park.
Educational programs of the Turaida Museum Reserve are based on museum exposition, environmental and research work, ensuring the process of information acquisition in an attractive and active way.
The orienteering game is designed as an active and exciting visit to the museum reserve. The object of the game is to find the objects and individual items in the Turaida Museum Reserve as shown on the map. The game is a way to get to know Latvian history at the same time and spend time in a museum!
In international groups, it was a very athletic, active and exploratory orientation.
The 1st prize, the 2nd prize and the 3rd prize winners were given ‘Diploma for showing interest in the history of Latvia, participating in the orientation game ’The Story of Millennium’'.
