The afternoon was devoted to a sightseeing around a town Staicele, which is situated on the banks of the river Salaca, and creative workshops.
Students visited the cultural and historical heritage street of the town (Lielā iela), the Liv museum "Pivälind", which introduces the Liv cultural heritage in Salaca region and the history of Staicele, the Weaver's House, the Artists' Shed, the former Paper mill complex, the Staicele Art and Music School, where participants had the opportunity to enjoy the piano performance by a project member Ruslans Andrejevs, as well as visit the Staicele Local History Museum, where the interactive map with ancient houses, farms was particularly interesting.
Students at lunch tasted Staicele special tasty porridge.
In the Weavers' House participants of the project had a creative workshop led by Irēna Graviņa, a teacher and local craftsman weaver; the students used to make friendship bracelets in the colours of their national flags, as well as test their weaving skills -weaving grass stalk mats on the looms.
The other group of participants got acquainted with the Staicele Youth Club, played games and got to know each other more closely by playing games and communicating.
