September and October 2018
In September all the participants started preparing the introduction of the different schools involved in the project. They also introduced the different groups at school and their educational systems.
The work to create a project's homepage was started by Staicele Primary School and the work to constitute an e-book was initiated by Estonian students.
September and October 2018
One of the first activities of our project was to record a video with our students to introduce our school to the partners. Students from partner schools have uploaded the videos into the TwinSpace of our project.

Via Twinspace all participants (pupils, teachers, parents, staff) will get into contact; intercultural and transnational learning and teaching activities will be prepared and posted, an exchange of results will be guaranteed. To design a logo to be the representative image of our KA229 project “Let’s think about our future working life” we organized a logo competition. "Criteria for a logo competition' were developed by Spanish partners.
All the schools participated in this activity. Each participating school chose its best logo.
Then, the four logos that our students from the four schools have created were shared in the TwinSpace of our Project; there was a competition to vote the logo that better represents the Project- a form to be shared with students and families, in order to proceed with the voting was created.
The logo that has got the most votes is the Spanish one, created by Marta Medrano Prats and Daniela Rodríguez Sanchiz, and it will represent our project.
Romanian team's work to create a project logo
The first Skype video conference between four partner schools' coordinators took place on 1st October.
We discussed what has already done and about work near future have to be done:
1) The video introducing the school has to be ready by the next 17th October. Then, the TwinSpace for our project must be ready too; so, we will be able to upload the videos there.
2) Each student, wanting to participate in the transnational meeting to Estonia, must record an individual video. This video is individual for each student, and it must be more or less 5 minutes. It is like a candidate; they must explain why they want to get involved in this project.
3) About the first transnational meeting in Estonia- in May or April? Answer is- we better keep the date of this first trip in April 2019 (as it is written in our project) in the first week in April.
4) Next Skype conference- 22nd October (Monday) at 14:00 in Spain, 15:00 in other countries.
October 2018
Pupils, teachers together with schools' staff are directly involved in the project. The activities are especially designed for students between 14 and 16/17 years of age and, with these activities, they will improve the skills and knowledge they will need to develop a later profession (or, at least, they will have a deeper knowledge to decide the profession they would like to develop in the future). Also, teachers will directly benefit from the project, so they will share their knowledge with colleagues from other countries.
To choose the students who will participate in the exchange activities and in the transnational meetings, the following criteria were established:
First, all students interested will have to produce a video in English language in which the following points will be included:personal introduction, family and friends, about languages he/she studies and speaks, his/her everyday life, hobbies, favourite food, etc., important aspects about his/her city and school and answer why he/she wants to take part in this European project. The video must be minimum 5 minutes long. In addition, academic and behaviour criteria-their interest and attitudes in the classes, will be taken into account.
With this respect, students having a certificate recognizing their level of English will be taken in special consideration.
There will be a waiting list for those students interested in taking part but not chosen according to the criteria.
Important condition: the students and their families involved in the exchange activities will be committed to hosting European students during the activities that will take place in their country.
Before starting, all teachers of the four schools will be informed about the project. Participating teachers will be chosen by their subjects and their interests. The responsible school coordinators of all countries will inform the different teams about their specific tasks; every school team will get into contact with each other; there will be a continuous communication, exchange of ideas and results, discussion, if necessary.
Interested students and their parents will be informed in conferences about the project by the responsible teachers in general; then they will present the project’s objectives to those students who are next to leave school (class 9/10). Students have to apply for an exchange; after having chosen the participants, working groups will be formed to start and carry out the project. All teachers taking part will support the students (for example, with materials needed like producing CD’s or videos, with knowledge concerning language or ICT, help to create the website, etc.).
During visits, teachers will stay in hotels and the students in selected families; before travelling, colleagues and students will inform themselves about cultural, natural, economic or climatic specifics of every country. In addition, meetings will be carried out planning the visits.
We have some common selection criteria to all the schools . The students involved in the project and their families must know all these criteria; so we have to make them public.

Questions discussed:
1. eTwinning and uploading the videos for the school presentations in the TwinSpace of our project.
2. Webpage will be developed (using Google Sites) by Latvian partners.
3. Regarding the number of participants, all the schools consider that it can be positive for the project to increase the number of participating students to 8 per school and trip instead of 6. The number of teachers will be the same, that is, 2 per school and trip. In order to decide, we need to know the budget; so we each school has to plan the activities and the money we will have to invest to carry out those activities.
4. Selection criteria. We have some common criteria to all the schools. The criteria related to behaviour and performance is flexible and can be adapted to each school. The Spanish school will create a document to certify the point related to behaviour; and we will share it with the other schools. The students involved in the project and their families must know all these criteria; so we have to make them public.
5. Logo competition. We will present the task to the students by the 5th November. Students in years 9 and 10 will take part in this task. They will have 2 weeks to create the logo. Then, each school will choose the best logo. So, we will have 4 logos that we will upload to the TwinSpace for voting. After one week, the logo with the highest number of votes will represent the project. We have to establish the criteria. The Spanish school is thinking about them and we will share them with the other schools by the 29th October.
November 2018
A Padlet has created in TwinSpace of our Project in order to give the students possibility to introduce themselves by writing a few words, sharing some personal details.
Questions discussed in this video conference:
1) Possibility of accommodating 18 students in each transnational meeting (as it is in the project)
2)Different activities to develop in each country and approximate estimate
3) Uploading information to TwinSpace of our Project and how to invite the students to our TwinSpace.
October and November 2018
In order to estimate approximate budget, each school has to plan the activities and the money they will have to invest to carry out their activities during the transnational meeting. So, schools think seriously about this issue and offer their visions.
December 2018
The Project partner schools' students had a great idea to make and send Christmas cards by mail post to their partners. So students were created nice Christmas cards with wishes of lots of love and the cards will be sent to Spain, Romania, Estonia and Latvia.
Questions discussed in this video conference:
Research on the different local economic sectors:
The students will work in 4 groups to research on local agriculture, industry, services and tourism. After their research, they will have to write short descriptions (in local language and in English); and they will also have to record a video in English explaining their results. The descriptions, pictures taken, and the videos will be uploaded to the web page 'history pin'. This work will be ready by the end of February.
Activities to develop in Estonia.
Presentations on the importance of nature. This will be done by 1st April, at school.
Video (advert) about a touristic strategy (to promote tourism in Estonia).

In a videoconference meeting, the coordinators of the different schools under the Erasmus+ Project 2018-1-ES01-KA229-050307 agreed on the following points:
To cancel the transnational activity C4 in Spain, programmed to be developed in the first week in May 2020. This cancellation is due to the present Covid-19 situation.
To apply for an extension of 12 months of our Project, in order to be able to develop the last transnational activity, also to develop all the activities previous the mobility, together with the writing of the final reports.
The last week in October 2020 has been proposed as the date to develop mobility in Spain. If the transnational activities in Spain may not happen in October 2020, a suitable date could be May 2021.
