On the second day of work with partners in Estonia, Latvia and Romania Spanish team shared their expectations regarding their future job; they got some knowledge regarding the main economic sectors in the area of Monóvar and started working on job interviews, in international groups students discussed what job they would like to do in the future, gave useful recommendations for a job interview.
A meeting with a local entrepreneur - Bodegas Alejandro, was held, in which he told project participants about his winery.

Monòver, Alicante, Spain
This winery offers handcrafted wines obtained from different varieties of grapes harvested by themselves and the sale of liquors. They had a family tradition since 1982, when they started their family winery located in Monóvar, Alicante. An entrepreneur Bodegas Alejandro introduced the wine producing process, which includes ensuring quality and total control over the harvest and production in order to sell very high-quality wine by manual grape harvesting, to select the best grains to create wines with an intense aroma, with voluminous and balanced colours.
All the family work on the fields, now have vineyards, have a passion for their work, and they know that the climate of the area gives them adequate temperatures in order to create wines with character and personality.

Cooperative Mañan
Alicante, Spain
An entrepreneur from the cooperative Mañan introduced to his company. He told that it is a cooperative founded in 1989 that began its activity with 200 associates and a production of 500 tons of shelled almonds. Currently, the company has grown to about 5,000 associates and a cultivation area of almost 50,000 Ha.
Their associates cultivate and produce the almond, and the cooperative processes transforms and markets the product, the process culminating when the production is settled to the farmer.
A fact that deserves to be highlighted is the fact that, of all this area, 8000 hectares are dedicated to the production of organic crops.
These agricultural holdings are distributed practically throughout the Mediterranean strip of Spanish territory, and all of them deliver their production to the cooperative for marketing.
Organic farming production is essential for the company.
For years, in the company there has been a strong introduction of organic cultivation, which is increasing due, above all to the rising demand by the final consumer for organic almonds.
There they have the most modern and specialized machinery for the transformation of the almond and the obtaining of all its derived products in Mañan cooperative. In addition, they have a fully equipped laboratory specialized in carrying out all types of analysis according to existing regulations, in order to guarantee the highest quality of our products.
