Activities:
Recycling. The students developed different activities related to this topic and reflected on its importance in our daily lives. To promote an active involvement within this topic as a future active citizen.
Visits to local companies, enterprises, companies (a printing press, the local television, for example), touristic places and services (the Palace of Culture), universities in different areas.
Organizing an art exhibition of products made by students with waste materials.
Meeting with career guidance, a psychologist who can offer advice after applying a questionnaire about their personal competencies.
An interview at an entrepreneur or for an IT company (AGILEROO)
Workshops on medicine, hand-made products and IT.
Students elaborated their carrier plan taking into consideration some facts that we will give them, for example what has to do a student that wants to become an actor/ doctor/ company manager, etc.
Methodology:
Students worked in international groups (previously arranged by the teachers). An interactive, communicative and active methodology was used, being the students the protagonists of their learning. Technology was present in the different activities.

Results:
Different activities about recycling, to reflect on its importance in our everyday life and to get to know the different possibilities recycling may have in their future working life.
The artistic exhibition was organized by students, with products done by students with recycled materials.
A serious reflection on the students' characteristics, skills, abilities and competencies in order to make a serious decision for their future working life.
It is going to be related or integrated with the normal activities of the involved schools- at the beginning of the school year, there will be a meeting involving the participating teachers from the school in order to take the last decisions for developing the project. Students and families will be informed. In order not to interfere with the normal activities of the school, we will try to integrate the above-mentioned activities into a cultural week, or similar activities that are celebrated in the school. Some results and products of the project will be used by the main teachers that are mentoring the students from 10 to 12 grade.
By participating in these activities, students:
Learnt about new aspects and fields of education, getting some important knowledge about the different possibilities they have to develop when finishing their compulsory secondary education.
Prepare themselves better for their profession and future work life. They improved their communicative skills in the English language; they used different technological apps and tools; they got to know and reflect on the importance of nature and natural science; they also reflected on the importance of humanities.
Sharpen/widen their scientific and personal competences
Support the European idea and European relations, by becoming part of an international and intercultural community.
