Pam (Burke) Strohfus - Recently retired, Pam took on getting a volunteer group organized. Then moved it from "talk" planning to the start of an actual 50th Reunion in the midst of the pandemic. She set up meetings from her RV while wintering down in Arizona and now is doing the same from her home in Idaho. As a former health professional, Pam is as concerned as many of you to make sure this Reunion is safe and follows CDC Guidance.
Deb (Conway) Montoya - Deb and her husband Tom Montoya graciously offered to have the whole reunion at their Barn! Logistics, expenses, and location ended up being a little too much to pull off. They followed up with a great idea to have an informal meet and greet Bonfire and Potluck at their place. You will hopefully experience their hospitality so plan on going!
Carol (Drew) Garry - Carol put together and mailed the Save-The-Date card. Carol shared her knowledge of prior reunions and planning. She also has shared tons of great memorabilia from our high school days. (Carol has "retired" from the Board and we thank her for all she has done for the 2021 effort!)
Mary (Fallon) Arnold - Mary has put a lot of leg work into some plans that won't see the light of day due to the venue shift from the Montoya Ranch to the Minnehaha Country Club. She has also worked with the Alumni Office to get as much current contact information on classmates as possible so we could start tracking everyone down. She's also coordinating the O'Gorman Building Tour which is an amazing tour!
Fr. Gregg Frankman - Easy going Gregg is making all the plans for the Mass and is hoping to line up other class members in religious careers to concelebrate. However, he also has a connection to a great Food Truck and put in the some good effort to get it for the Montoya Ranch gathering as an option. Alas, it did not work out! But, check out the Watecha Food Truck or their new brick and mortar location to experience terrific Lakota food that has some bite to it.
Linda (Lovrien) Simmons - Linda is working behind the scenes to convert all the Reunion Information and present it on the website for easy access. She is out in Oregon so helping out locally in Sioux Falls was not going to work at all. She is very much looking forward to coming to the Reunion.
Vicki Lowman - Vicki has kindly taken on the Treasurer task for the Reunion. (Thank goodness!) The rest of us are pretty lost in this area so we are grateful! Vicki will be handling the checks coming in, and the checks going out.
Barb (Mofle) Norman - Also out on the West Coast in California, Barb has taken on putting together some great name tags that will help people find 1971 faces in 2022 bodies. Barb is also taking on that new fangled way of making payments called VENMO. Glad she's around otherwise we'd be back in the 20th Century!
Paul Navin - Paul has his contacts with a gang of guys from our class and is relaying Reunion input from them. He is instrumental in getting the Crab Grass Crew lined up for the Friday Evening music at the Bonfire. Paul has also made arrangements for blocks of hotel rooms available to out-of-town Reunion attendees. He is out in Denver so he seems to get snow a lot when everyone else is in sunshine. He's coming to the Reunion but hopefully not with snow.
