I have been very 'fortunate' throughout my life.
In fact, you can say I have 'won the lottery' at least 4 times in my life!
First, I was born on March 17, 1953; which is Saint Patrick's day. So the celebrations of that 'event' have always been memorable.
Early on, while at O'Gorman, I was introduced to Sue Cavanaugh. [Thanks Widdy] Sue and I soon fell head over heels in love. We have been married since 1976.
That's over 50 years of 'dating' and 45 years of wedded bliss!
To top it off, we have 3 healthy and happy adult children
That's been the best 'lottery pay off' any man could ask for in his life
Another 'lottery win' I had was was during the Viet Nam war era, when my draft number was reported as #14
Only to be later correct to #364!
Talk about 'dodging a bullet'.
But not to be overlooked are all the friendships and memories from my days at OG. I often look back at those times only to smile or laugh out loud. Some of you have been 'special gifts' to me; who have guided me through good times and bad. I am in your debt and will try to repay you as we go through the years to come
OG 71--Second to none!
