Greetings from beautiful Colorado! I graduated from USD and then spent a couple of years working for the State of SD before moving to Colorado in 1978. I spent several years in HR before moving into sales and management roles in IT for companies like McDonnell-Douglas and EDS. I retired in January 2020 from XTIVIA after 13 years just before all the COVID pandemic started. I sold and managed and supported consulting services around BI and Data Analytics.
I finally found the love of my life in1989 after a long search and some help from our classmates Pam and Paul Strohfus. Fun story! Married to Clare for 33 years. She’s a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner and an IT Practitioner.
Two children: Bethany, an ICU Nurse in Omaha and Ben a Sr. Construction Engineer in Denver. We have 2 grandkids in Omaha and one here in Denver. We live in Highlands Ranch when we’re not in Omaha spoiling grandkids.
My O’Gorman experience included the creation of lifelong friendships with 6 other alumni. We’ve all stayed in close contact and make it a point to get together at least every two years. Lots of great stories to share!
The pandemic has made contact with family and friends more challenging. I hope this reunion will inspire you to reconnect with old friends. Your old HS friends are a treasure waiting to be enjoyed once again in a way that is now even more meaningful. The time is now! Plan to attend the reunion. Our days of good health and mobility may be limited soon. See you in September!
