I graduated with a nursing degree from Jamestown College in 1975 and enjoyed a 40-year nursing career at Avera McKennan. I was proud to be a part of the Benedictine and Presentation Sisters’ Mission to serve every patient who walks in the door.
Over Christmas 1975 I ran into a bearded O’Gorman grad at Stockmans. I married Dan Murphy in 1977 and we had 4 children in 8 years. We have 7 active grandchildren who enjoy swimming in “mee-maw’s” pool.
More recently, I have kept busy volunteering at the vaccination shot clinic, cheering for our daughter Maggie’s golf team, and playing Mah-Jong with the likes of Carol Garry, Karen Parsley, Deb Montoya, Vicki Lowman, Susan Kautzsch, when in town & Colleen Reichelt, who shows up for the chat!
I look forward to seeing everyone again !
