Joanne M. Treloar, 49 of Independence, died March 4, 2003, at the Medical Center of Independence. She was born Sept. 28, 1953 in Sioux Falls, SD, to Hugh and Margaret Fonder.
She was an active member in the Independence Christian Center, a member of the Women's Fellowship and sang in the church choir.
She was married to Larry Treloar Sept. 5, 1981 at Minnehaha, SD.
She was preceded in death by her father, Hugh M. Fonder, her mother-in-law, Ferne Treloar, and a nephew, Michael Fonder.
Her survivors include her husband, Larry M. Treloar of the home; two sons, William W. Treloar of Independence, MO; and Ethan J. Treloar of the home; two daughters, Laura D. Treloar of Independence, MO; and Anna J. Treloar of the home; two step-sons, Chad Treloar and wife, Bonnie of Warrensburg, MO; and Eric Treloar of Rapid City, SD; a step-daughter, Cari Treloar of Independence, MO; her mother, Marge Fonder of Sioux Falls, SD; four brothers, Richard Fonder and wife, Jan; Roger Fonder and wife, Linda; and Ronald Fonder, all of Sioux Falls, SD; and Robert Fonder and wife, Sharon of Las Vegas, NV; a sister and brother-in-law, Julie and Dan Majeski of Billings, MT; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.
Services will be Friday at the Independence Christian Center. Burial will be in Oak Ridge Memory Gardens, Independence. Arrangements are under the direction of the Speaks Suburban Chapel.
