Community Guidelines

The Community PENothecary is a learning space within the Natural Health Ministries Education Center designed to encourage respectful discussion, herbal education, and community learning.

This space exists to support individuals who are studying herbal wellness and natural health stewardship within a faith-centered learning environment.

To maintain a positive and respectful learning community, all members are expected to follow the guidelines below.

🌿 Purpose of the Community

The Community PENothecary exists to encourage:

• herbal education and learning
• respectful discussion of herbal traditions
• sharing of educational resources
• encouragement and support among members
• community exploration of natural wellness practices

This space is intended for educational discussion, not medical treatment or diagnosis.

🌿 Respectful Communication

Members are expected to interact with kindness, respect, and integrity.

Please remember:

• treat others with respect
• avoid hostile or argumentative behavior
• respect differing viewpoints and experiences
• maintain a supportive learning environment

Disrespectful, abusive, or disruptive behavior may result in removal from the community.

🌿 No Medical Advice

Members should not provide medical advice, diagnoses, or treatment recommendations to other members.

Discussions may include:

• traditional herbal uses
• educational herbal information
• personal wellness experiences

However, members should avoid presenting information as medical treatment or professional medical advice.

Members are encouraged to seek appropriate licensed medical care when necessary.

🌿 Educational Discussions Only

The Community PENothecary is intended for learning and education.

Members may share:

• herbal preparation techniques
• herbal gardening experiences
• educational resources
• wellness lifestyle practices

However, members should avoid presenting themselves as diagnosing or treating medical conditions.

🌿 Practitioner Conduct

Members who hold NHMEC certifications or registry recognition should conduct themselves with professionalism and integrity.

Practitioners are expected to follow the NHMEC Code of Ethics and operate within lawful wellness education boundaries.

🌿 No Spam or Promotion

To keep the community focused on education and learning:

• unsolicited advertising is not allowed
• self-promotion should be limited
• business promotion requires prior approval

Posts that are primarily promotional may be removed.

🌿 Privacy & Confidentiality

Members are expected to respect the privacy of others.

Please do not:

• share private information without permission
• repost community discussions outside the group
• disclose personal information shared by other members

Respect for confidentiality helps maintain trust within the community.

🌿 Faith-Centered Environment

The Natural Health Ministries Education Center operates from a Christian worldview that encourages stewardship of the body and respect for God's creation.

Members are welcome from many backgrounds, and respectful discussion is encouraged.

The community strives to maintain an atmosphere of encouragement, humility, and mutual learning.

🌿 Moderation

NHMEC administrators reserve the right to moderate discussions to maintain a respectful and educational environment.

Posts that violate community guidelines may be edited or removed.

Members who repeatedly violate community guidelines may lose access to the community area.
