Artist's note
Nature inspires me in its variety of forms like the mountains with their strength and stability, sun-moon with the change they bring on earth by their mere presence, plants which survive difficult conditions and always keeps on giving everything it has to other life forms on earth, and so on. This finds place in my art works as it is always on my mind.
To me a fish resembles a woman tightly bound to her priorities and norms without which survival is difficult same as for a fish without water.
I believe we all are blessed with an inner voice which always guides us; but we are not able to hear it due to our preoccupied thoughts. We dilute our inner voice and fail to act in a way which is the best for us. Many times, woman must act without their liking, to meet society and family norms. Finding that inner voice and being able to listen to it is something which I always think about, and it reflects in my artwork as well.
