Since childhood the nature of Himalayan regions, social life, folk art, language, dance, music etc. have always attracted her to them. I believes that our homeland India is known for its cultural endeavour in every aspect whether it is religious, social or political, it grows and transforms in any manner but the rootsor principles always remain the same. While observing the cultural scenario of the certain regions especially of her native place in Uttarakhand and other parts of India, I found that the environment or nature and women play a keen role to secure the tradition.
