Artist's note
In each stroke of my brush and every shade of my palette, I weave the tapestry of my life's journey. My art breathes the essence of cherished moments from my childhood, where innocence danced hand in hand with joy. Yet, within this canvas of nostalgia, there lies a poignant truth veiled by societal norms. As a young girl, the melodies of my laughter were silenced by the confines of tradition, prohibiting me from the simple joys of play and camaraderie. As a girl on the cusp of womanhood, I felt the sting of societal expectations, stifling my laughter and confining my spirit. These echoes of suppression etched deep within, became the silent muses of my artistic expression. Through my creations, I peel back the layers of societal constraint, revealing the hidden narratives of female resilience and the enduring quest for liberation. So, my art tells these stories. It speaks of the struggles we face, the longing for freedom, and the strength we find within ourselves. Each stroke is a rebellion against those old rules, a call for change.
