Dried Hybrid Lizard | Etching | 21" x 16"
Artist's note
When any certain insect, animal or reptiles died then their body gets crooked , this deformed shape of lizard seems as dried and crepitate , its ribs, hand bones, adhesive feet like gecko pattern, its trunk/crest pattern. The zinc plate is itself is in deformed shape and not in any geometric shape just as like crooked lizard and then treated as the deep etching so its print on paper itself would experience as the tactile effect of the actual dried hybrid lizard. even the colors are as the faded and earthy as it's died and mixed again soil.
