The lifeline | Drypoint | 12x18 inches
Artist's note
When we think about poles of electricity and wires, we usually visualize bunch of wire serially going or maybe entangled with each other. When we metaphorically relate that object, wires can depict our situations and poles depict us, the human beings. The cluster of wires shows how sometimes we got stuck in situations or how life gets so complex at certain points of our life.
The loops of wires show how sometimes we get into so much trouble and life feels like we are stuck, and everything is clustered, complicated. The Medium I used here is drypoint with the composition of electric poles with a cluster of simple and looped wires, tied and attached around and with poles.
