The Story Behind the Mask | Intaglio | 50x100 cms
Artist's note
There are so many dominant people around us who have no clue. Among all this masker, good person always there gets lost. There is no place for a good person. They have to find out.
There are two types of speculations within a human being. A person with a chieftain is always visible only to everyone in his speculations.
Masker never wants to reveal their true colours. That’s why they always carry two powers.
A chieftain always keeps changing their nature. Because of this, bows are not permanent for others.
We cannot even imagine what type of human is the person in front of us. Therefore, one should keep oneself alert while approaching them.
The chieftain always keeps a veil of lies within himself. Due to which their true form is unknown to everyone.
Every chieftain has some black chapter in their life. That’s why they keep themselves beside mask.
We all like to keep ourselves hidden to some extent. By doing this, we all gradually convert into masker. This is human nature.
In this particular work, I tried to express my experience with people. In both the works, the outer circle is the 24 parts which is shown is the cycle of 24 hours in one day, what I have tired to express is my experience of people’s behaviour, connection with people, each and everything.
