Artist's note
The glances pause in time to deliberately narrate the depths of life. As life unfolds it slowly shows the known, hidden beyond the unknown. As metaphorical moments of life are and as uncertain the certainties are, my art works narrate the untold stories of the faces that have faded away. To hold the essence of places and people, to capture the diverse gush of emotions and to show a moment that has stood still in time, I visually document the presence of people. The very intrinsic intricacies of their belongings represent their journey, for me it literally becomes the embodiment of what they carry within them. Though the people, their migration and movements hold an intense sense of accumulated chaos, it is the conviction in them that intrigues me. As I observe people, see the language in which they sustain and what they carry, it evokes in me deeper story.
