Beauty in decay, Inside story | Etching on paper | 10"x20"
Artist's note
My artworks stem from my daily observations of the spaces that surround me. I find fascination in the Cycle of life, including decay, and have drawn inspiration from the Japanese aesthetic concept of wabi-sabi. Exploring the beauty in the transience of objects, the process of aging, and the cycle of growth and decay. I often evoke emotional experiences from the imperfections and diversities present. This approach highlights details in familiar images that are often overlooked. As I shown in the artwork beauty of aging from inside and outside of structure.
