This workshop aims to provide teaching ideas on how to prepare students for open-ended comprehension using the Blended Learning Approach infused with Differentiated Instructions (DI). The use of Questioning Tags to answer the different levels of open-ended comprehension questions and related online and printed resources will be shared. Blended Learning Approach was explored in this lesson package. The lesson package was created having the diverse learners in mind. Thus, Tiered Instruction Approach was used in the lesson conducted. The variation in scaffolding enabled the diverse learning environment to be conducive. In this classroom research, Secondary 1 Tamil students were involved. The lesson package aimed to prepare the secondary 1 students to meet the secondary school examination demands. Course module in SLS platform will be tapped for the sharing of resources.
