TERM 3
Letting students experience the joy of learning has always been a challenge for educators. By letting students learn at their own pace and releasing the responsibility of learning back to them, teachers have the time to facilitate their learning and address any gaps in understanding. To impact students' learning, there are 3 types of learning interactions involved:
1. Student – Content Interaction
2. Student – Student Interaction
3. Student – Teacher Interaction
Participants will take away ideas on how they could adapt the shared lesson resources to create a learning environment for students to learn at their own pace while incorporating Gradual Release of Responsibility in their lessons.

TERM 4
Most of the students face the challenges of writing a content-rich composition and are unable to interpret the feedback given by their teachers, hence the Feedup-feedback-feedforward (F³) model is used to provide a comprehensive structure to integrate teaching and feedback as a whole to help students understand where their gaps are and how to move to the next level for further improvement. The designed rubric is based on the SOLO taxonomy and it connects the processes throughout the F³ model. It serves as a useful guiding tool for students to become more self-directed and self-regulated learners. Participants will take away ideas on how they could use the F³ model and SOLO taxonomy in their teaching.

This workshop introduces the Mayflower Secondary School Secondary 2 Applied Learning Programme (ALP) design that involves the application of ICT and authentic learning to support the teaching and learning of Chinese Language. Some strategies include the promotion of different modes of interaction by using Padlet functions to design interactive activities for active learning and provide multimodal feedback. Students’ engagement and interest are also enhanced through the use of Padlet and Storyboard in creating and sharing their artifacts. Participants should be able to learn how to infuse the 2021 new curriculum into the lesson design to give students the opportunities to apply the skills they learn and extend their learning to solve real-life problems.

As a student of the 21st Century, one should understand the importance of self-reflection in enhancing his/her learning. Using SLS as a platform, teachers can create packages that will guide students in their self-reflection and self-evaluation of their learning. These reflection scaffolds can empower students to be self-directed and confident learners who will be able to take active ownership of their learning progress. Students will then be able to enhance their mastery of the Chinese Language. Participants will take away ideas on how they could adapt these reflection scaffolds for use in their classrooms.

Given the diverse learning needs in the classroom, it is important for teachers to adapt their teaching strategies accordingly. Using SOLO Taxonomy and e-pedagogy, lessons could be designed to expose students to the appropriate degree of challenge while providing suitable scaffolds. Such lessons would engage the students in independent and collaborative learning, thus, feeding them forward to the next level of understanding. Participants will take away ideas on how they could adapt these lesson resources for use in their classrooms.

To cultivate students' interest in reading and improve their reading levels, the project team's school has carried out the E-morning reading using SLS. The reading passages are divided into grades, topics, and skills. Differentiated instructions are included in the post-reading activity. In addition, high-ability students can read more challenging texts and complete the corresponding challenge tasks. Preliminary results show that the differentiated teaching mode of E-morning reading using the SLS platform has stimulated the students' interest in reading to a certain extent, and it has also promoted the professional development of teachers.
