As Sports Captains prepare for their National School Games, it is important that they are equipped with the right skills to lead their peers and juniors. Here in Northbrook's Secondary School, we developed a comprehensive programme (Goal-setting, Team-building, Positive Education, Sports Psychology) to guide and prepare our sports leaders to succeed in their roles and to lead their teams successfully. Through our intervention, it was observed that our leaders were able to lead their CCAs confidently. We hope our sharing at this workshop will be useful in moulding empowered sports leaders to enhance their team’s performance.
