Academic Games (AG) is a series of games designed to challenge and test student knowledge in a variety of subjects. Students develop proficiency and confidence by competing in games of Math, English, History, Logic and Reasoning. Through competition students are encouraged and motivated to sharpen their skills in order to gain a competitive edge over their peers. Academic Games is a fun way to learn STEM!
MNCCS AG teams participate the formal AG tournaments organized by Michigan Leagues of Academic Games. MLAG holds monthly regional tournaments from September to February, and a state tournament in March. Those qualified teams from the state tournament can compete on a national level by the Academic Games Leagues of America (AGLOA). Member leagues in eight states hold a national tournament in April every year, in which players in four divisions compete in eight different games.
