各位家长，各位老师好，
学校最近一直在关注”武汉肺炎” [新型冠状病毒, Novel Coronavirus (2019-nCoV)] 动向以及对我们周围的影响。许多老师和家长也表示了极大的关注。
近一周来，国内疫情传播的局势越来越严峻，美国也出现多个确诊病例。根据官方的预测，这次新型冠状病毒的爆发期将是将来的两周，同时也是已经回国在中国新年期间探亲访友的人群返回美国的高峰期。
为了把病毒感染的风险减少到最小，确保学生、老师、家长的健康安全，学校决定把 2月2号 和 2月9号 两次课取消。以后在可能的情况下找机会补上。请各位老师调整教学方案和进度。请各位老师、家长和学生注意自己的防护和隔离。
现在目标 2月16号，星期日，恢复上课 。 请大家注意校委会的后续通知。

Dear parents and teachers,
The school has been paying close attention to the trend of "Wuhan pneumonia", AKA Novel Coronavirus (2019-nCoV) and its impact on us. Many teachers and parents have also expressed great concern.
In the past week, the spread of the domestic epidemic has become increasingly serious, and multiple confirmed cases have also occurred in the United States. According to official forecasts, the outbreak of the Novel Coronavirus will peak in the next two weeks, and it will also be the peak period for those who have already returned from China after visiting relatives and friends during the Chinese New Year.
In order to minimize the risk of virus infection and ensure the health and safety of students, teachers, and parents, the school decided to cancel the next two classes on February 2 and February 9. It will try to find opportunities to make up later. Teachers are requested to adjust the teaching plan and progress.
