Dr. Shuxin Bi of Northville, Michigan, passed away on January 23, 2022, at the age of 60, after more than four years of fighting with cancer. He was loved and cherished by many of his community members and the people like his spouse Xuanjing; his sons, Jonathan and Yannis; and his sibling Shuli Bi (Qing Sun).

毕庶信博士于2022年1月23日在密西根州诺斯维尔去世，享年60岁，一直受到了很多人的爱戴和珍视，包括他的夫人周宣菁；儿子毕加森和毕亚宁；和他的兄嫂毕庶礼，孙清。

Dr. Shuxin Bi was born on November 17, 1961 in Shandong Province in China. He graduated from Tsinghua University in 1983 with a bachelor degree. He came to United States in 1990. After graduating with a Ph.D. from Purdue University in 1993, Shuxin spent most of his career at Ford Motor Company. Shuxin devoted much of his time and energy to the community. He had always been an advocacy and leader. Shuxin was uplifting and enthusiastic, worked conscientiously, loved as a husband, and was kind as a father. His always smiling, very kind to everyone, and great contribution to the community. 

毕庶信1961年11月17日出生于中国山东省。 1983年毕业于清华大学，1990年来到美国。在1993年从普渡大学博士毕业后，大部分职业生涯都在福特汽车公司工作。他通过给予和志愿服务，致力于服务于社区。他始终是倡导者和领导者。毕庶信先生为人正直热心，工作兢兢业业，为夫恩爱，为父仁慈。他总是面带微笑，对每个人都很友善，对社区做出了巨大的贡献。

Mr. Shuxin Bi volunteered as the President of ATUAM (Association of Tsinghua University Alumni of Michigan) in 1997. He also volunteered as the Board of Director for CAGD (Chinese Association of Great Detroit) from 2011 thru 2014. Shuxin served as volunteer administer at MNCCS (Michigan New Century Chinese School) and NCCAE (New Century Center for Academic Excellence) from 2006 thru 2016, and as the principal from 2013 thru 2016 for both MNCCS and NCCAE. Throughout the time, both schools developed rapidly in terms of enrolment and teaching achievements.

他于1997年担任ATUAM（密西根清华大学校友会）会长。2011年至2014年担任CAGD（大底特律华人协会）理事。从 2006 年到 2016 年曾任职于MNCCS（密西根新世纪中文学校）和 NCCAE，并从 2013 年到 2016 年担任MNCCS 和 NCCAE校长。在他任校长期间，学校从规模发展到教学成果迅速发展。

In honor of Dr. Bi’s outstanding contributions to the Michigan Chinese community, a Shuxin Steven Bi Memorial Fund has been established and is managed by a committee which consists of Mrs. Xuanjing Zhou (Mr. Bi’s wife), Li Zhao (President of ATUAM) and MNCCC Board. The Memorial Fund will be used 100% to promote Shuxin’s legacy of giving back to the community so that everyone will benefit from the Promotion of the Chinese Culture.
