The freedom cult is a controversial set of Avonistic beliefs centering around the balance between body and mind.
In the freedom cult, damage, strain, and work to one half of the body/mind dichotomy is healed by pleasure in the other. Those who work with their bodies, such as construction workers and farmers, are advised to read, visit theaters, and play games; those who work with their minds are advised to exercise, eat rich foods, and dance often. This is the most well-known tenet of their faith. Where it becomes controversial is when it is taken to the extreme. Strict adherents who work with their may bodies gamble and become prideful. Fervent knowledge workers may become hedonistic and gluttonous.
