Father of storms, mother of tides, and the dweller in the depths, Teruna is ever-shifting and ever-feared by those who know her name.
Teruna, as the embodiment of water, takes a variety of forms. Often, among sailors and around their ocean, they take the form of a handsome young vityr with one iron hand and steel-blue eyes. Her hair resembles seaweed or water, always moving even if there is no breeze. She also takes the form of a merfolk with a deep blue tail and eyes black like a selkie. She never truly stands still. Her two symbols are the anchor and the cloud. The cloud represents her rains and storms and the power she holds over the weather, and the anchor represents her connection to sailors and those who cross the ocean.
Teruna has collected many epithets over her long life, as the second-made of Nyx's children. She is called Tukra, meaning sea devil, by the seafolk. She is Teruna Paros, the ever-changing waves. She is Teruna Aleus, keeper of secrets and mysteries. As Teruna Yrion, she is the gentle stream and light rains that bless the land.
Among mages, Teruna is viewed with a mixture of respect and fear. She is the giver of weather and water magic to the Amodoi mages. Teruna is the deity who was most likely to appear in human form before the Wrath, and every day tries to extend her reach out of the shattered plane.
