The sukhet are desert-dwelling folk of Tekeburi, adapted to the intense heat and aridity of their region.
Sukhet stand around 5'6" to 6'4" in height when flat-footed on the ground, though many prefer to walk on the balls of their feet, adding an little extra to their height. Their hair is dark and they have long lashes to block out sand and dust. They have different patterns on their back corresponding to the region they live in, with lighter, freckle-like spots in the central continent, larger, scattered spots to the east, and open rosettes in the north. Their ears, while similar to Myra, are lightly furred and tend to be looser, hanging downward naturally instead of stiffly pointed.
The sukhet are said to be gifted according to the passion and movement of Ignis, with seemingly endless energy. Their sense of hearing is heightened, as well as their sense of touch.
There are a number of cultures across the three vast lands that the sukhet call their own. The Adebi and Ndusari to the north, the Thutani to the east, and the Draketh in the central continent make up the largest portion, though some Nithi claim Sukhet ancestry.
