Story: Jaless grew up in the frigid lands of Icewind Dale. The days were long and cold for her and took up the lute in her spare time. Music took her away to far off lands and she dreamt of a future where she was a heroine. - Love wasn't something Jaless was searching for, but did she ever think about it? Absolutely. She thought about it even more when she set eyes on a tall, fair, paladin by the name of Holvir. She didn't want to admit it to herself but she was completely infatuated with the man, but how could she love someone who has devoted his entire livelihood to his god? Loving him was difficult, not because of the journey, but the internal struggle of loving a man who could not give her anything but his word that he loved her. In the end, Jaless understood the sacrifice she would have to make in order to be with Holvir, but none of it mattered because she could not let herself leave the love of her life.
- It is said that his love for Jaless and the love for his god tore Holvir apart, but in the end, the pain was all worth it and as his friend once predicted, "every thing will be okay". Everything did not turn out okay, but better than he had ever expected. In a series of strange and surprising events, Holvir was granted the ability to share his life with Jaless as man and wife, as well as sharing his love with his god.
