Story: On the inside, Grolux battles a constant urge to be either more human-like or more orc-like. He does not understand how someone can be "half of anything" internally, when both races will always exist in their blood. What he does comprehend is that his strength and his quickness on his feet is highly desired in the streets of Amn - making him the perfect mercenary.

Grolux has been fighting his ferocious orc blood as long as he could remember. He was raised by his human mother and because of his orc-like tendencies and features, he was mostly shunned for the majority of his childhood. The only human-like feature of his is brilliant blue eyes, which betrays his human blood. Since then, Grolux has learned to keep away from the general public and speak only when it is necessary. He prefers to keep to the shadows and despite his strong, muscular, and tall form - he is able to adeptly be quite stealthy. Eventually, his mother could no longer raise him and Grolux was sent on his way and found work as a hired killer - a mercenary. And he was good at what he did. However, Grolux continuously fights with his blood and has a deep, hidden desire to belong to either race...fully. It is said that Grolux caught wind of a powerful mage who was able to fulfill his greatest desire.

• Grolux had long accepted that he would live without love, that he would die alone. One could say that he didn't care for it all, but others would say that the half-orc only numbed himself to the pain. To Grolux, he couldn't distinguish between the two. However, fate had other plans for him.
• On another seemingly regular night, Grolux sat in his usual place outside the tavern, waiting for his next employer. He hardly noticed a battered, ordinary-looking girl walk into the inn and then out, until something inside of him churned with pity. Pity was for the weak, and Grolux knew this, but there was something about this woman that drew him in and found himself, taking the responsibility of looking after her. This ordinary girl was nowhere near common, in fact, she was a winged tiefling in disguise, but as expected, Grolux was unaffected by this news. Seeing her in her true form only gave him more of a reason to protect her.
• In the days, weeks, and months following their meeting, Grolux found himself caring more and more for Harmony. He hated himself for it. For how could someone as beautiful as her ever love a monster like him? They had their share of intimate moments, but all of it meant nothing to him...until the day they shared their first kiss. His heart was never the same ever since.
• It wasn't long after that Grolux discovered that Harmony was carrying with child. He was frightened at the prospect of being a father, but at the same time, he was excited to be one. This additional information also urged him to find and kill her pursuers, and that is exactly what he did.
