Story: Offspring of a nereid and a human, Pleione was always stuck between two worlds. Needless to say, the union between her mother and father didn't end quite so well - seeing as her mother tricked and drowned her father after realizing she was impregnated by a mere human. Pleione was only half-heartedly raised by her mother and by the age of 17, she was thrown into the land of men. Still barely an adult, she wandered and stared at villages from afar, but never strayed too far from the shore. However, not long after, sightings of a blue-haired beauty filled the minds of many and off they went, seeking the mysterious lady. As we all know, some people do not have the purest intentions and unfortunately for Pleione, these men were the first she met. They captured her and used her as a source of income - brandishing her beauty to more barbaric regions. At one point, the men stopped at a small village filled with barbarians, thinking they would leave with gold, filling to the brim of their pockets. What they did leave me behind that day was their heads. A young barbarian man, by the name of Bherin, deemed Pleione to be the ocean's greatest treasure and wanted her to be his "prettiest bauble". He decapitated the men with quick, furious strikes from his axes and ever since Pleione's "freedom", she has traveled with Bherin wherever he goes. Some even dare to believe that she is the lover of the young barbarian. Others say she is waiting for her perfect time to strike.

Some say that the barbarian cheated on his greatest treasure, but all who actually met the couple knew that Pleione willing allowed Bherin to enjoy other woman for she that she would always be his one true love and no one would ever compare to her. Eventually, Bherin asked for a child and Pleione was disgusted at his request. Of course, life does not always go as planned and eventually, she gave birth to Bherin's son. She loved her boy more than life itself and more than Bherin. Regardless, the family's life was always filled with excitement and everywhere they went, everyone knew the story of the barbarian and his greatest treasure.
