Story: "Telzi" is the name she picked out for herself when she was recently released from slavery by killing her master. She doesn't speak of her time with her former master, but a quick glance to her body shows quite a couple of deep scars. In regards to her appearance, she is oddly beautiful - making anyone question her heritage. She is clearly half troll, but what is the other half, or was she simply lucky enough to be blessed with good genetics? What strikes most people as even stranger is that Telzi is an active monk in a monastery. When asked about this, she gruffly states that she had to "stop the hunger" and so she found herself at the steps of a monastery. The monks there welcomed her with open arms and even though she still eats voraciously and in great troves, she claims that her hunger is much smaller than it used to be.

Additional Background: In the world of Dungeon and Dragons, trolls, specifically half-trolls age very quickly. Meaning they reach maturity, or they are considered adults, at the age of 13. Telzi is about to turn 14 years old, but she has already seen too much in her lifetime. She is the product of an evil wizard's experiment who impregnated a female elf with a male troll. The wizard thought that combining the stealth, magical abilities, and agility of an elf with the strength and amazing constitution of a troll would make for the ultimate weapon. When Telzi was born, the wizard immediately began his devious work on her. He would force her to fight with wild animals and small humanoid monsters in order to train her to become faster and stronger. But as she grew older, so did her body. The wizard realized that Telzi had a certain alluring beauty about her and instead of continuing her training to be the ultimate weapon, he made her into his concubine instead. How she got away from the wizard, no one knows for sure. However, there are rumors that on Telzi's 13th birthday, she broke free from her chains one night and murdered the wizard. Others say she was incidentally rescued by a group of adventurers, but only Telzi knows for sure.

However, once Telzi was freed from the wizard's grasp, she found herself unable to sate her terrible hunger. She had a voracious appetite and needed to eat massive meals multiple times of the day. However, food does not come easily and she soon lost herself in that insatiable hunger. One day, she snapped and killed a family of seven living on a remote farmland. I'm sure you know what happened to their bodies next, so I'll spare the grisly details. Once her hunger had finally subsided, Telzi realized the horror of what she had done and felt grave remorse. She attempted to end her life so that she would never do such a horrible thing again, but failed - mainly because as a troll, she had a brilliant regenerative body. Instead of attempting to end her life a second time, she came to the conclusion that she would learn how to control her hunger. She had heard of the discipline and wisdom of monks and so she set off in search of them. Surprisingly, they welcomed her with open arms and ever since then, she has been learning to control her hunger.

Love Interest: Delilah Johannes

• Telzi was in hiding when she discovered a purple short-haired girl with golden eyes in the same abandoned building as her. The girl posed no threat to her and so, Telzi left her alone. However, as they were holed up together, their friendship grew. Delilah would teach Telzi how to read and write, in addition to finding their food, and in return, Telzi would protect Delilah. It didn't take long for the two fugitives to develop romantic feelings towards each other but before their love could be spoken to each other, Delilah's pursuers managed to find her. In order to save Delilah's life, Telzi had to give up her own - and she did so without hesitation. Telzi lunged at the guards and screamed for Delilah to flee for her life... and Delilah fled.
