Story: Born from the strange and surprising union from a royal naga and a powerful wizard, Jax (short for his full name which is too difficult for anyone but his own kind to pronounce) lived a very sheltered lifestyle. That is not to say he did not have his share of adventures. His parents understood the call to adventure and they allowed him to go, but little did he know that he was never fully alone. But sooner or later, the young sthein found out that his "adventures" were just little puzzles and safe errands produced by his parents. He wasn't angry, more so disappointed than anything and his parents decided that it was time for him to adventure out into the world.

During his centuries of life, Jax has experienced many things. He has learned to love, to care, to hate, to have patience and other soft skills that he would not have normally learned on his own. He doesn't normally like to blend in with the many societies as he still feels like an outcast, but watching the creatures of the world has been his favorite past times. On very rare occasions, he will interact with them, in his humanoid form of course. He has no burdens in his life and it's quite possible to say that there hasn't been a blemish in his life so far.

• On his one hundredth birthday, Jax was relaxing near the lake when he spotted a beautiful human woman. He was not yet accustomed to human culture yet, so he did not approach her but simply observed her actions. He watched her endlessly for months on end, always afraid to say hello to her. It is said that the more Jax watched the woman, the more he fell in-love with her. He had no experience with women and didn't understand how humans wooed the opposite gender so he decided to leave her little gifts, knowing that she would find them. Gifts began to trickle in and it wasn't until exactly one year later that Jax was caught red-handed. Perhaps love at first sight really does exist, for as soon as Ameliana saw her generous gift giver, she knew that this man was it for her.

• The two began to spend all of the hours together. She would teach him the customs of humans as best as she could and in turn, Jax taught her how to swim and random knowledge he had acquired from his days of reading and from what his parents had told him. Jax didn't understand the concept of marriage as he had never been introduced to it, but he found himself wanting it as soon as Ameliana described it to him. However, he had no last name to give her so when they were married in private and had their first child, the family took Ameliana's last name.

• Jax and Ameliana had four children - two boys and two girls. All of whom grew up to be overly inquisitive and gentle individuals. However, as soon as the most blissful of his days had come, they ended for Jax. Seventy years comes in a blink of an eye for him and old age had taken his beloved wife.
