(Past) Story: Yanna speaks of a time that belongs in a history book. She tells you about a small village she used to grow up and when she was seventeen years old and how it was burned down by a massive fire. She doesn't know how she survived but what she does know is that she was the sole survivor of the fire's mass destruction. When she awoke, her skin had changed to a ruddy color and her hair was a flaming orange red. She realized when she was greatly agitated or showed very strong emotion, her hair would cackle and spark with the embers of her burnt home.

The village she speaks of no longer exists and you realize that Yanna has a certain dialect that betrays her age. She has the face of a child that cannot be a day over seventeen and when finally asked of her age, Yanna quietly states that she has been alive for more than a century. She does not know why she has not aged and she can only hope that her mystery will be solved soon.

(Present) Story: Yanna doesn't know how her curse was broken, but on the 100th anniversary her village was burnt to a crisp, she woke up to find herself aging. Her rags and tattered clothing no longer fit her, she grew taller, and she looked as if she had finally reached her twenty-first birthday. It was quite awkward for her trying to figure out what to do and trying to re-learn society, but she knew she had to get on with a life - time was no longer on her side and something in the back of her mind told her to live the life she should've had, and so she did.
