Story: His name, Vanim, literally meant beauty in the Elvish tongue - and he certainly lived up to his name. As a young adult, Vanim was rambunctious, outgoing, and a very flirtatious, physical person. He worshipped the goddess Sune and climbed the ranks of her church quickly, almost becoming the high priest. However, at the height of his career, he fell in love with a mysterious girl. She demanded much of his attentions and held great contempt for the life he lead as "the lady's man". Vanim had difficulties juggling between the two loves of his life, but ultimately, he led a tumultuous relationship with both. His girlfriend broke up with him...for the seventh time, and each time they parted ways, his relationship with his church broke more and more. Finally, during their seventh break up, Vanim decided to again, pursue the mysterious girl for the eighth time. When he arrived at her abode with a vase full of flowers and exotic, delicate chocolates, no one answered. Vanim saw this as unusual and forced himself into the house, only to find everything in disarray. He came to the conclusion that she was taken by slavers and gave up his position at church to search for her. The next seven years proved to be fruitless, and he finally gave up. With nowhere else to go and not know what else to do, he returned to his church and relived his former years, albeit, he adopted a more roguish look and there were times where he was found brooding and drinking himself blind.

Love Interest (Normal) Maelie Leven'le - "I'd bring you the moon."

Vanim met Maelie during one of his many break-ups with his current girlfriend at the time. She was clearly beautiful and he was clearly drunk, and one thing led to another and soon enough, Vanim and Maelie become a little more than just friends, but it was only ever more than that. However, during his seventh break-up, Vanim decided to pursue the mystery girl for the eighth time, but as he arrived to her house, he realized she was taken by someone or something. He left everything that day and did not return until seven years later.

When he returned, he went straight to his former tavern - ready to get drunk and forget the past. He was pleasantly surprised to see Maelie, as beautiful and kind as she had ever been, sitting there in her usual place. Old patterns resurfaced, and Vanim found himself dissatisfied with his life. After one his nightly trysts with Maelie, Vanim woke up to a beautiful, rosy morning. He turned to look at Maelie and he saw the glimmer of her hair and soft features. For a moment, he wanted...needed something else, he wanted more. Vanim promptly left her in bed as he usually did and began the morning searching for the desires of his heart.

One day, on another morning similar to the one previously mentioned, Vanim knocked on Maelie's door. With him, he carried a basket that held all the worldly goods he knew Maelie would love and a journal to write down every new experience they experienced together. Vanim made it a point to give Maelie a new experience every day, sometimes multiple new experiences a day and in the evening, they would spent their time writing in the journal. It wasn't long at all when the journal was almost filled, and when it was filled on its last page, a ring appeared.

Their wedding came shortly after and several years later, Maelie became pregnant with Vanim's child. Vanim was terrified at the thought of being a father and left Maelie for a month to gather his thoughts. The first week he was gone, he spent his time drinking and wondering what to do. The second week, he sobered up and decided to find a home fit for his wife and his unborn child. By the third week, he bought a gorgeous home in a beautiful small town. On the fourth week, he began his trek to his wife while carrying with him, a basket of all of her favorites. When he returned, he swept Maelie into his arms and promised her that he would never leave her again.
