Story: Alasdair always likes to have things scheduled and planned for his day - anything unexpected event thrown at him, usually ruins his day... perhaps his week or even the month. It's not that he doesn't appreciate the random nature of possibilities, he knows that he can't escape that, it's just that he prefers to have time for everything. He always has something that must be accomplished before the day ends, but he always finds that he needs so much more time than expected. Twenty-four hours in a day is too limiting for him and there are times where he wonders how on earth anyone is able to get anything done.

Beside from these thoughts and his daily activities, Alasdair has chosen to accept, embrace, and then forget his past. However, everywhere he goes, he draws attention to his patched eye. One person was pesky enough to bother him so much about it that he finally told the inquirer the origin of his patch, or the loss of his eye. When he was a child, a friend of his accidentally scratched his eye. Of course, nothing really happened to him for the first week but seeing as how he lived in a remote village at the time and there was a lack of understanding on medicines and the like, his eye quickly became infected and needed to be taken out before it could kill him. Most people who hear the story are disappointed as they were expecting to hear a tale of valor, but nothing everything lost is a tale of woe or of courage.

...But, is he really telling the truth? I guess we'll never know.
