Story: Born to a noble elven family, Vorsyx was surprisingly accepted into his family. His mother had fallen in-love with gray orc and while their love was forbidden, their was nothing that could stop their love. However, Vorsyx would never know his father as he died in an effort to protect the noble family. The elf girl's parents were grateful for Vorsyx's father's sacrifice and accepted the child as their own. He was raised as an elf would, and it wasn't long after that he developed magical abilities, as well as the strength of the orcs. The other elves weren't too pleased to see a half-orc in their society, but they were courteous enough to never speak their mind. Vorsyx's mother later married to another elf noble and bore a son. Vorsyx was considered a bastard and while he was not thrown at, he no longer had the welcome he once had. Eventually, his grandparents asked the half-orc to leave and they gave him a sizable amount of gold and equipment to start his own life. He took what his grandparents had to offer him and left without another word.

Love Interest: Ansaleane Reydran

• Vorsyx was a handsome half-orc by all standards. He may not have had women clamoring over him because of his orcish heritage but he did have several girlfriends that were able to look past this and see the scholar and warrior that he was. He knew that love existed in the world, he had heard stories about it from his parents - about how his father died for his mother's family... but love never lasts. And that, was what he believed.

• When he met Ansaleane, he was in a relationship, but he couldn't help but acknowledge her charismatic nature and beauty. By the gods, she was one of the most beautiful women he had ever laid eyes upon. Vorsyx was captivated with her but he knew that he had to be respectful to his current girlfriend, and so he and Ansaleane enjoyed a long poker game that lasted well into the night. However, he is still a man with orcish heritage, and while he didn't spend the first night with Ansaleane, he spent the second... the third... the fourth night and so on and so forth. She seemed to be everything that he could have possibly he wanted and he believed that he could love her. He never did fully end the relationship with the other woman, as he never went back to see her again.

• Vorsyx was more than disappointed when the woman he was growing to love turned out to be sadistic, cruel, and downright horrifying. Instead of spurning her, he believed that he could change her from her ways. Needless to say, he was wrong, but from time to time, he would be able to persuade her in taking a "nicer" path. He thought that this was progress enough, but didn't realize that Ansaleane only did this to appease him. Despite her evil nature, Vorsyx saw a woman who was lost and scared... someone who was hiding behind this mask of darkness. He never lost hope for her and the more time he spent with her, the more he loved her.

• The day Vorsyx confessed his love to Ansaleane was the day she laughed in his face and completely ignored his statement. Yet again, he wasn't dissuaded and tried to prove to her that his love for her was real and that she didn't need to be afraid when she was with him. It took him nearly a decade for Ansaleane to admit her feelings for her and during this time, she tried many times to push him away by increasing the heinousness of her actions, trying to scare him away but none of it ever worked. The years he spent with Ansaleane calmed her and it was said that for the duration of their love, the darkness in her heart was kept at bay.

• Vorsyx would have had loved nothing more than to marry Ansaleane and give her his last name, but she always denied him this. At first, he was deeply saddened by this but he tried again and again to convince her - all to no avail. He eventually realized that Ansaleane would never marry him and he learned to accept this, but it never diminished his desire to start family with her. To him, that was what he wanted most in the world and he wanted Ansaleane to be the mother of his child. She was disgusted by this idea and told him this would never happen but on one fateful day, she agreed - no one knows what caused her change of heart. Soon after, Vorsyx was a proud father of a boy. He understood Ansaleane's lack of desire in participating in the boy's first year or so, he was resentful towards her but she had given him what he wanted most. It was with great relief when Ansaleane started to show interest in their son, and he was overjoyed when she began to love him dearly.

• Vorsyx is only half an elf, and while he did live for a few centuries, he could never live as long as Ansaleane. He died out of old age and when he left the world, he left it with no regrets and his last words to Ansaleane was that he would do it all over again.
