Story: Irisa grew up being constantly served on a silver platter. People looking from the outside in would think she had a lovely, carefree life. Behind closed doors, she had to follow a strict regimen from her parents or be kicked out of the household. Her parents asked only for Irisa's obedience and cooperation when it came to dealings with her family. She always obeyed them, until she could no longer be silent when her parents forced her to marry an old, foreign noble man at the age of 15, just to solidify their wealth and standing. On the day of her wedding, she left the groom at the altar and fled. Understanding her parents' fury and what they were capable of, Irisa quickly boarded the first ship she came across and hid there until it had landed.
She had never worked a day in her life and with nothing but the clothes on her back, she did the only thing she thought she could do to survive - steal. She was fairly good at it, and was able to make ends meet when it came to food and clothing. However, she made a terrible, or perhaps the best, mistake of her life when she attempted to steal from a pirate. Instead of punishing Irisa for the theft, the pirate saw potential in her and took her under his wing. From then on, she traveled the seas as a pirate, trained to be a swashbuckler. Never has she been more happier in her life, listening to the sound of waves crash alongside the shoreline or around the ship. The stormy seas were the best, since it was always a struggle staying afloat and unharmed, but she lived for these days. She approached things with caution but was always ready for the unpredictability of the sea and the adventures it laid in store for her.

- As a Bhaalspawn:
- BGI: After the death of her foster father, Irisa drowned herself into more of a chaotic frenzy. Although she had a good heart, one could never tell what she was going to do next or what her reaction would be.
- BGII: Irisa was sent into a downward spiral in Irenicus' dungeon, not only because of his torture, but because she missed seeing the vast seas and she really hated being in a dark area for too long. When she finally escaped, she went to the nearest tavern and gambled her way into a fortune. Of course, these gambles were slightly rigged in her favor.
Love Interest: Kelsey Coltrane
- BGI - Irisa originally had feelings for a certain paladin of Helm but because of her chaotic nature and her constantly thieving, their relationship did not go very far. She turned her attentions to an elven man by the name of Coran and while he was fun while it lasted, she sought nothing else from him.
- BGII - At a chance meeting at the Governments District in Athkatla, she met a sorcerer who went by the name Kelsey. She was slightly taken aback by how "normal" he seemingly was and genuinely for sorry for him when she learned about his obtainment of his sorcery. It seemed like Kelsey wasn't meant for the world she lived in, maybe he should've stayed a traveling merchant. However, as they traveled together, they became the best of friends and constantly relying on one another for support. During Irisa's chaotic spouts, Kelsey was always there to calm her and make sure she was well. Eventually, the pair began to fall in love with each other and it seemed like nothing in the world could separate them. After the defeat of Irenicus, Kelsey proposed to Irisa and told her of a big, beautiful house he had bought for the two of them after the end of their journey. During their time in Amkethran, Irisa discovered she was pregnant with Kelsey's child. Fear struck her to the very core, because at a time and place like this, a child would be the end of everyone she cared about and everything she had ever fought for. Besides, she had the blood of a god flowing through her veins, how would this child react and develop because of this? She tried to relay her fears with her lover and wanted to terminate her pregnancy as soon as possible, much to the dismay of her lover. When they finally reached the Throne of Bhaal, Irisa was given a choice - become a goddess or become a mortal. Of course, Irisa chose to stay with Kelsey and much to the surprise of herself and her love, she chose to keep the child.
- Epilogue: After choosing to keep the child and stay a mortal with Kelsey, Kelsey immediately rushed Irisa home to be wed. They sealed their marriage and love for each other under an arch of beautiful, yellow flowers and those who attended grew hoarse as they cheered for the two. Eventually, the crowd became restless as the two continued their long kiss and Kelsey had to wave them down, all without ever breaking his lips from his lover. The next few months for the pair were the quietest they had ever known, Irisa's lust for travel and adventure eventually needed to be placated as her child grew within in. Finally, they were greeted with a beautiful baby girl with a mane of red hair and as she smiled, it is said that her eyes grew a faint blue. The couple named the girl Kylia and Kylia grew up to be a master of martial arts and a true scholar. When speaking of the Coltranes - Kelsey, Irisa, and Kylia - they were described as one of the most powerful families in all the realms.
