2022 World Championships News
Team USA gets 2nd place at the World Championships in Belgrade Serbia this September 2022
Claiming gold medals for the United States were 2020 Olympic champion Tamyra Mensah Stock (68 kg), and Amit Elor (72 kg).
Dominique Parrish captured the gold medal at 53 kg in women’s freestyle, parading the American flag in her first Senior World Championships, with a crisp 4-2 victory over 2022 Asian runner-up Khulan Batkhuyag of Mongolia.
Helen Maroulis (57 kg) gets silver, and Kayla Miracle claimed a silver medal at 62 kg.
Hildebrandt and Velte win bronze.
Winchester takes 5th.
In 2022, Adeline Gray joins two U.S. men to obtain the most (six) world championship level Gold Medals in U.S. seen below!

Ranger Wrestling Club: Bottom left picture shows Miranda Marck and Sydney Bowman. Miranda eventually became a US Air Force Officer while Sydney wrestled at Ursinus College in PA after raising $500,000 to start an all-women wrestling team at the school thereby becoming the 8th PA women's college program.
Sydney Bowman, a native of northern Virginia, member of the Leesburg VA Ranger wrestling youth program, and graduate of Tuscarora High School, made historic news by starting the Ursinus women's wrestling program.
