In-Season Period Covers November-February Each Year

In-Season "Draft" Varsity Schedule

• VHSL authorizes the following:

  • No more than 12 regular in-season competition events.

  • No more than 2 scrimmage in-season events (with or without referees).

  • First practice day begins early November 2025.

  • First competition day begins early December 2025.

• Additional team duals and individual open "bracket" tournaments are provided to complement the season schedule. 

• The post-season period includes tournaments for regions and states in February 2026. 

In-Season "Draft" JV Schedule 

• JV may possibly compete along side varsity at many regular season events. 

• JV most likely will compete multi-team JV-Jamborees during regular season.
