VHSL organizes mandatory meetings for Virginia high school wrestling coaches 2-3 weeks prior to the season start.  

One coach represents their school to attend one meeting closest to their location each year. 

Questions or comments for the season 2023-2024 mandatory meeting:

• Weight classes for female athletes at the end-of-year state tournament?

• VHSL Handbook is currently not functioning online.

• Hair length rule clarification.

• Beard length rule clarification.

• VHSL Website on WCP says "Weight fluctuation greater than 3% should initiate the coach evaluating the athlete’s eating habits and weight loss schedule."  What does this mean?

• End-of-match procedure?

• Hair length that requires a hair net or bun?
