We did make the following changes: 1. started by sautéing some pancetta and 2. topped with a few Aleppo chile flakes. Might also recommend a little lemon zest in the future. 

Also the mushrooms we used were beech and king oyster. But use whatever you like as long as it's not flavorless white button mushrooms!
