22 When Jesus said this, one of the officials nearby slapped him in the face. “Is this the way you answer the high priest?” he demanded.
23 “If I said something wrong,” Jesus replied, “testify as to what is wrong. But if I spoke the truth, why did you strike me?” 24 Then Annas sent him bound to Caiaphas the high priest.

Jesus spoke openly to all those around Him when He taught us about His Way and His teachings...His Way is not one of reputation, being a celebrity and having fame, material possessions or wealth, or about being the happiest person on the block...His Way taught us to seek God first, their are times of sacrifice, there will be times when we have trials in our lives, there will be times when we are weak, and times when it seems we have failed and be in last place...
Jesus taught us His Way humbly, with great LOVE, with mercy, and He was and is full of Grace and Truth...When we reflect on what He taught, we then realize that He humble spoke the Greatest Words ever spoken...He spoke with Great confidence and with Great Authority...The Authority was His Father...He spoke is such a way that His Words show us that He is the Son of God, and the the logos, the purpose of life and LOVE did become flesh...
