We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Environment Modeler to join our team and help shape the world of our next-generation video game project. As Senior Modeler , you will be responsible for creating high-quality 3D models of environments and props that align with our artistic vision and technical requirements. You will collaborate closely with level artists, concept artists, technical artists, animators, and designers to bring life to immersive, believable game worlds. The ideal candidate has a strong eye for form, composition, and detail, along with a deep understanding of game asset creation pipelines.
Core Responsibilities
Model high-quality 3D assets (environments, vehicles, and props) for real-time game engines, maintaining consistency with the project’s art direction.
Translate 2D concept art into detailed, optimized 3D models.
Work closely with the Art Director and Lead Modeler to establish and maintain modeling best practices.
Collaborate with riggers and animators to ensure models support performance and gameplay requirements.
Create clean topology and UV layouts.
Utilize multiple texturing techniques and methods.
Optimize assets for performance and memory constraints across target platforms.
Mentor junior artists and provide feedback on their work.
Troubleshoot and resolve modeling-related issues throughout production.
Core Qualifications
5+ years of experience as a 3D modeler in the video game industry, with at least one shipped title on PC or console.
Expert proficiency in modeling tools such as 3Ds Max, Maya, or Blender.
Strong sculpting skills in ZBrush or equivalent software.
Solid understanding of topology, UV mapping, baking, and texture workflows.
Experience working with game engines (Unreal Engine, Unity, or proprietary).
Ability to create both high-poly and game-ready low-poly models with efficient topology.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Strong artistic fundamentals in form, proportion, and visual storytelling.
Ability to model both hard surface and organic assets.

Previous experience with Unreal 5.
Deep understanding of Unreal 5’s main features including Nanite, Lumen and Substrate.
Experience using PCG.
Familiarity with procedural modeling methods.
Strong texturing skills in Substance Painter/Designer or similar tools.
Familiarity with PBR workflows and material setup in Unreal Engine.
Background in technical art or scripting/modeling tool development (Python, MEL, etc.).
Experience working in open-world, narrative-driven, or stylized games.
Traditional art or design background (drawing, sculpting, industrial design, etc.).
