RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead the recruitment, selection, and onboarding process for new team members, ensuring we attract diverse talent that aligns with our studio values and culture.
Partner with department heads to identify staffing needs, develop role profiles, and create clear career progression frameworks.
Design and facilitate performance review processes that encourage growth, development, and continuous feedback.
Develop and implement strategies to enhance employee engagement, reduce turnover, and build a positive workplace culture.
Facilitate internal communication to ensure transparency and alignment across the studio.
Resolve employee relations issues with empathy, fairness, and in accordance with studio policies and employment law.
Oversee learning and development programs to enhance skills and support career growth.
Collaborate with leadership to identify and nurture high-potential talent for succession planning.
QUALIFICATIONS
5+ years of progressive HR/People Operations experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership capacity.
Previous experience in the games industry or creative technology fields preferred.
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field.
CIPD qualification or equivalent professional HR certification is a plus.
SKILLS
Strong understanding of employment law and HR best practices.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
Proven track record of designing and implementing effective people strategies and initiatives.
Experience with HR information systems and people analytics.
Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and integrity.
Adaptable problem-solver with a proactive approach to addressing challenges in a fast-paced environment.
Passion for games and understanding of the unique culture and demands of creative industries.
